Hi there,
I'm the drummer for XII Boar (pronounced 'Twelve Boar'), a UK based rock n' roll act that has been tearing a new asshole into the stoner/sludge/metal scene over the last year. We're a three-piece wrecking ball from Aldershot, Hampshire; who share a taste for groove laden riffage, dirty bass lines and the need to blow the roof off everywhere we set up shop. I think we'd fit perfectly onto the Kultrock Festival line-up by bringing a gigantic slab of adrenaline fuelled, good time, booty-shaking metal over to Europe.
After almost two years of solid gigging we've accomplished a lot for a band who literally do all the hard work in house. We have independently recorded, produced and released two EP's, which have gained thousands of downloads and garnered rave reviews from both the press and fans alike. We've also been featured on the pages of Kerrang! magazine and had a track released on Terrorizer and Metal Hammer magazine's cover-mount CD.
This January saw the release of our latest EP – 'Split Tongue, Cloven Hoof'. This has had some incredible reviews from all over the globe, not to mention countless radio and podcast airings, and is the kind of EP that has Orange Goblin and Motorhead looking over their shoulders.

We are planning a summer tour for the next year, and we were wondering if you could give us the opportunity to play at your festival this summer!
Regardless of our musical style , it can be an exotic idea for European festivals to have a band coming from a middle eastern totalitarian Islamic country. We've produced a visual CV ( Resume ) for you to watch and see what we have done over the past three years, and how much we've accomplished, given the situation that we live in, here in Iran.
